A Journey Toward Happiness

We are Claudia and Eduardo, a married couple from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who for many years traveled the difficult road of fertility treatments, doing everything in our power to fulfill our dream of becoming a family.

There were many treatments, many hopes, and also many disappointments. After so many unsuccessful attempts, we began considering the possibility of surrogacy. Unfortunately, we were unable to find an option in our country that would allow us to make our dream come true. After the pandemic, these practices were no longer permitted at the clinics where they had previously been carried out.

It was then, through a married couple we know from Montevideo, Uruguay, that we learned about the possibility of undergoing treatment in Georgia. They told us about clinics with extensive experience and a strong track record, and in particular, they recommended NEW LIFE, highlighting its commitment, professionalism, and excellent reputation.

Without hesitation, we contacted Tina. From the very beginning, her frank, clear, and warm way of explaining every detail gave us a sense of peace that we had not felt in a very long time.

The following day, we had an interview during which we were able to ask all our questions and clear up every doubt. We felt supported, respected, and, above all, hopeful again. And sometimes, after so many disappointments, being able to feel hope again is already a small miracle.

A few days later, we made the decision to choose NEW LIFE. We completed all the requirements, signed the contracts, and began this new journey. After so many disappointments, our hope was beginning to come alive again.

The process of assigning our executive coordinator, Salome, began immediately. She accompanied us and kept us fully informed about every legal aspect of the treatment, giving us security and confidence throughout the entire process.

And then came the moment that, after so many years, had seemed impossible: the long-awaited POSITIVE pregnancy test.

Then came the heartbeats.

And then, the ultrasounds.

Seeing our baby for the first time, even if only through a screen and from thousands of miles away, was indescribable. Our eyes filled with tears and our hearts overflowed with joy.

At home, any moment was a good moment to talk about our baby. We would make charts on the kitchen table, compare one ultrasound with the previous one, and look over and over again at the progress of every measurement. Every small development was a reason to celebrate.

During this long journey, Mariam, our pregnancy coordinator, joined us. She answered every one of our questions, even at difficult hours and despite the time difference. She kept us informed about every development and knew how to lovingly reassure and support us through the anxiety caused by the distance, the waiting, and the challenges of communicating in another language.

Later, Tatia joined the team. She was responsible for assisting and guiding us through all the documentation required for our baby’s identity. She explained every step and every document we needed to provide, making a process that initially seemed enormous and complicated much easier.

And then, suddenly, the big day arrived.

The flight that we had imagined and awaited for so long finally became a reality. A flight that will take us to finally meet—the three of us.

Today, all we can say is that we are eternally grateful to the entire NEW LIFE team, and especially to Tina, Salome, Mariam, and Tatia, for accompanying us throughout this journey with professionalism, patience, commitment, and, above all, humanity.

But there is one person to whom our hearts will always hold an indescribable gratitude: our surrogate, Sopiko.

Because without her, we would not be living this moment today. Her generosity made it possible for our deepest dream to begin becoming a reality.

If we could go back with the benefit of hindsight, we would certainly spare ourselves many of the anxieties, frustrations, unsuccessful treatments, and expenses that seemed endless.

But there is something far more valuable than all the money we spent, something that no amount of money can ever give back:

TIME.

And yet, today we look ahead.

Because everything we went through is now behind us, and after so many years of waiting, we finally have before us what we always dreamed of: the possibility of meeting our son, holding him in our arms, and beginning our story together.

And then we understand that, despite everything, every tear, every wait, and every moment of uncertainty led us to this very moment.

Our journey toward happiness is finally reaching its destination.
